BrightHy Solutions Reaches Key Execution Milestones on Two Green Hydrogen Projects in Portugal
BrightHy Solutions has reached two important execution milestones on previously announced green hydrogen projects in Portugal, reinforcing the Company's continued focus on delivering projects from engineering through execution.
The first milestone marks the successful completion of the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase for the 15 MW Hydrogen Production Unit at the Municipality of Sines, Portugal. BrightHy has delivered the complete engineering package, providing the technical definition, design validation and supporting analyses required to advance the project into its next phase. The completed FEED establishes the engineering basis for EPC tendering and future project implementation.
The second milestone relates to the Chaves hydrogen project, where BrightHy has successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for the project's key equipment packages. Last month, BrightHy's engineering team traveled to China to oversee the FATs at the facilities of strategic technology partners Sungrow Hydrogen and Houpu Global Clean Energy.
Following the successful completion of the FAT campaign, the equipment has begun its journey to Portugal, marking the project's transition from manufacturing to installation.
Together, these milestones demonstrate BrightHy's commitment to executing green hydrogen projects across the full project lifecycle—from engineering and design to manufacturing oversight and project delivery—supporting the deployment of hydrogen infrastructure for industrial decarbonization and clean mobility.
